The game

Each gameweek you place a fake £10 fantasy stake on the result of every fixture in that round of your chosen competition, at the odds recorded when the round was published. A winning pick scores its return and a losing pick scores nothing; those scores accumulate across the round, the season, and any private leagues you join.

No money, no prizes

Stakes are fantasy amounts used only for scoring. You will never be asked to pay to play, no money is ever at risk, nothing can be won or withdrawn, and there are no prizes. TopDog is a fantasy prediction game played for its own sake and is not a gambling product.

Prices and results

Odds are recorded once, when a round is published, and every prediction in that round settles at those recorded prices regardless of when it was made. Each fixture closes to predictions at its own kickoff time. If a fixture is postponed or abandoned, predictions on it are voided: they score nothing and are left out of your pick and stake counts, so the fixture cannot help or hurt you.

Results come from a third-party data provider. We correct errors when we find them, which may mean adjusting a settled round.

Your account

You need a working email address, and you must be at least 16 years old. One account per person — additional accounts created to manipulate a league or the leaderboard will be removed. Choose a display name that you would be happy for anyone to see; we may change or remove names that are offensive or impersonate someone else.

Leagues

Anyone with a league's invite link can join it, so only share it with people you want in your league. League creators are responsible for who they invite.

Availability

The game is provided as-is and free of charge. We do not guarantee it will always be available, and we are not liable for predictions you were unable to make because of an outage. We may change or discontinue it, and we will give notice if we do.
